I have not been consistent with my blog and have been racking my brain to find topics, then it hit me. I have had people ask me several times where I took different pictures. I thought it may help me ease into blogging by picking an image and give you the background story. I decided to start with "Breathtaking".
This photo was taken at the end of our tour of King Ludwig II's Neuschwanstein Castle in Schwangau, Germany in 2014. If you look closely there are people on the bridge. Marienbrücke (Mary’s Bridge) crossed the Pöllat Gorge. Marienbrücke is currently being renovated with expected completion in July of 2016. If you have not seen this majestic beauty add it to your bucket list! Be ready for a workout and be prepared for rain. It rained the entire day but the rain did not make this experience any less amazing! My family and I hike up to the castle and took a horse-drawn carriage ride back to the bottom. My daughter was sitting in the front and I am sure felt like a princess until her steed lifted his tail and relieved himself. :-) That day is filled with memories my family and I will cherish forever.
Let me know if there is an image you would like to know more background information on in future blog posts.
Thank you for you taking the time to read this, Sylvia
